Born from Sermo CEO Peter Kirk’s harrowing experience with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Be Your Possible is a new charity that’s raising awareness and funds for medical research while inspiring us all to take steps towards our own possible - whatever that may be.
Through Be Your Possible, Peter is running 1,000 half marathons by the 10th anniversary of his blood stem cell transplant—his “possible”—to raise $1 million for the research and development of life-saving treatments.
Be Your Possible’s annual flagship event, Run for Research, activates physicians, healthcare teams, and partners around the world to run (or walk) wherever they are to unlock money in support of medical research. Since the inaugural event in 2022, Run for Research has attracted thousands of participants from 75+ countries worldwide and unlocked $350,000 in donations courtesy of Sermo. Upon registration, participants select the area of medical research and foundations they would like to support, resulting in donations to over 50 organizations worldwide.
