Begonia Project

The Begonia project is a European Coordination and Support Action seeking to optimize the European digital infrastructures of the energy and transport sectors through the study and development of cross-border platforms, enhancing interoperability and standardization. With a strategic focus on integrating seamlessly with existing European data, cloud, edge computing, and 5G infrastructures, the project evaluates potential use cases, engaging with key stakeholders and the research community. Begonia's provision of Operational Digital Platforms aims to deliver cross-sectorial, interoperable solutions adhering to common standards, contributing to the progression towards a more digitalized and fossil fuel-free Europe. This project has received funding from the European Commission under grant agreement N°101133306.
