About Beingpeacefully.com – Buddhist Therapy, Life Coaching, and Dharma Training
For 30 years, I have been a Fortune 200 business person and leader, mindfulness consultant, personal life coach, and Buddhist therapist. My expertise involves guiding my clients through the process of exploring new ways to realign their lives, choices, and perspectives; ways which ultimately lead to significantly increased experiences of happiness, contentment, and both personal and professional success, often drawing from Buddhist philosophy or what I prefer to call rational, logical common sense — a quality, that I joke, is surprisingly rare. I offer direct one-on-one and group-based Buddhist instruction for those who would like to actually integrate the Buddha's teachings (i.e., the Dharma/Dhamma) into their daily lives to address the real-world obstacles that get in the way of their practice, in the way of their peace-of-mind, and ultimately in the way of their progress toward spiritual success. Together, we will assess and adjust your views, understandings, and practices to align them with what the Buddha actually taught. Doing so will provide you with a practice framework from which you can adopt more skilful ways to address old, unskillful problems using highly practical and easily applicable canonical views and techniques that can be utilised immediately to start generating noticeable positive changes in the overall state of your practice and mind. Developing these kinds of supportive views and skills will cultivate a resilient foundation to experience genuine and sustainable progress toward uprooting your fetters and realising increasing measures of freedom from anger, anxiety, or stress out here in the "real world," not in spite of life's inevitable challenges, but because of them. This is not just about cultivating mindfulness or equanimity; it's about making progress — real and perceivable progress — toward Buddhist enlightenment, toward genuine happiness and resilience.
