About Beit Ruth for Young Women and Girls At Risk

Beit Ruth aims to meet the unique needs of at-risk girls in Israel and provide them the necessary tools and quality education to succeed in the future. The Beit Ruth Village ensures at-risk girls in Israel are given the opportunity to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically in a nurturing environment. It’s a long-term therapeutic residence and school for girls, ages 13 - 18, who have been removed from their homes by court order due to physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Led by a professional all-female staff, Beit Ruth ensures all the girls’ physical welfare needs are met while implementing a coordinated curriculum that combines intensive onsite academic programming with integrated therapeutic programs. Beit Ruth’s advocacy work extends beyond the Village to impact greater change by helping shape policy, providing an understanding of needed resources, mobilizing stakeholders, and partnering with local and international leaders. Beit Ruth’s programs, services, and outreach are part of its mission to end the cycle of violence.
