Many of us don't have a consistent opportunity to share our experiences with an attuned, curious, non-judgmental witness. If those experiences only live inside us, they can be hard to integrate and move through. They can get a grip on us. Through curious exploration, that grip might lessen its hold.
My mission is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner world, develop self-awareness, and build resilience to lead more fulfilling lives rooted in authenticity, purpose, and connection.
I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor as a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am governed by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association’s code of ethics, and I comply with their professional practice standards.
I am also a sports enthusiast, hiker, and dog dad of two with my partner. I love the outdoors and believe that physical activity is a great source of mental well-being.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Dalhousie University, a Master of Arts degree in the Sociology of Mental Health from York University, and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I see clients virtually, primarily in Newfoundland & Labrador, where I am currently based. I am also able to see clients in other parts of Canada depending on provincial regulations.
