Benefits Solutions Group was created in 1997 by founder, Bruce Leon. His experience in the insurance industry helped him identify a personal insurance need for companies and individuals, thus the creation of a benefits brokerage firm. After establishing Benefits Solutions Group, Bruce realized that in addition to insurance support, small businesses would benefit from outsourcing their HR. In 1998, he added a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) that is known today as Tandem HR. Benefits Solutions Group and Tandem HR work in tandem to provide growth opportunities for small businesses and help create strong company cultures.
