Every Child has a right to education and a right to “quality” education. Despite the efforts of many countries around the globe, there are still 251 million children out of school. The percentage of out of school children in low-income countries is about ten times higher than the higher-income countries. Out of 251 million children, Pakistan represents about 23 million children out of school, ranking top in the charts of the countries with highest number of out of school children in the world. Despite the ongoing efforts of numerous organizations to reduce the number of out-of-school children, there remains a glaring gap in initiatives aimed at ensuring uniform and quality education for those already enrolled. The stark disparity between elite schools and those catering to low-income families is evident, as the former provide a far superior curriculum that integrates modern educational concepts. While elite institutions embrace STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), innovation, and critical environmental issues, schools in disadvantaged areas struggle to offer even basic educational resources. This inequity not only undermines the potential of countless students but also perpetuates a cycle of educational disparity that needs urgent attention. Bridging this gap must become a priority to ensure that all children, regardless of their socio-economic background, receive a quality education that prepares them for the future. One of the reasons why the childrens cannot get equal access to such a quality education is the affordability of such education and comparatively low income of their families.
