Welcome to BetterRide Mountain Bike School with Gene Hamilton. We Provide Passionate Mountain Bike Skills Coaching helping beginners to top pro racers greatly improve their skills and reach their potential. BetterRide provides mountain bike skills coaching, not fitness training. Coaching sessions range from two hour clinics to three day camps across the US and abroad. BetterRide was founded by Gene Hamilton, with over 20 years of coaching experience including 13 years coaching mountain biking skills. Although Gene still coaches he has meticulously trained and certified other coaches in the BetterRide skills progression system. All of Gene's coaches have a few traits in common; they have learned from the master, they are incredibly passionate about mountain biking and they are dedicated to getting you riding your best.
Gene is a licensed USA Cycling Expert Coach whose career highlights include coaching many top pro racers (Ross Schnell, Lynda Wallenfels, Chris Van Dine, Mitch Ropelato, Sue Haywood...) and over 1,500 riders who just want to get better. He is passionate about coaching, riding and helping others reach their goals. A pretty good racer too, in 16 seasons as a pro racer he has won a Silver (2002) and two Bronze Medals (2006, 1999) at the UCI World Masters Championships. All mountain bike clinics, camps and private lessons are guaranteed to improve your riding or your money back.
