BEWI RAW GmbH - a part of the BEWI Group, was founded 1999 in Wismar, Germany, and commissioned its first capacity in 2001. During the past 10 years of operation, the plant increased the EPS capacity from 20 to 80 KT. Following the Scandinavian environmental profile and being dedicated to the packaging industry, BEWI RAW GmbH does not produce any HBCD modified EPS materials. Since 2006/2007 BEWI RAW GmbH enhanced the portfolio by launching the JACKOCELL 5 SERIES aimed specifically at the EPS converters facing pentane emission restrictions, but granting even processing gains versus the generic EPS beads.
