Beyond Booking, Inc. is a community-driven, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered in the State of New York, that is dedicated to the discovery, development, and promotion of new contemporary music and digital creativity in New York. Beyond Booking’s 20-year history demonstrates our vision, values, and passion for contemporary music as both a rewarding career and a path to collective healing and liberation; continuing the history of marginalized urban music and subcultures that emerged in NYC’s intersecting queer and BIPOC communities. Our programs are rooted in the spirit and history of marginalized urban music and subcultures that emerged in 1980s New York. We prioritize the work of artists who are LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and female-identifying, to help ensure their sustained creative and professional well-being. We focus on career sustainability for under-resourced veteran artists as they age in an often youth-focused industry. We help to support artists who are coping with mental health challenges.
