Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula has ensured youth living on the Virginia Peninsula have a fun, welcoming, and safe space to engage in an array of developmental opportunities since 1946. During our After-School and Summer programs, youth not only enjoy the benefits of participating in Club programming, but also develop positive relationships with peers, adult staff, and volunteers. Our core programs focus on Education, Character & Leadership, Health & Wellness, the Arts, and Sports & Recreation. BGCVP serves over 5,000 youth ages 6-18 in the cities of Newport News and Hampton and the counties of Gloucester, James City, and York at 11 Club sites.
