Bianca Cheng Design is a quest to answer the perpetual question that has raged on over time: can science and art coexist? Building a bridge between the two polar worlds is a guiding principle, and the bedrock of my designs. When you blend the rebellious charm of creative flair with the rigid precisions of math, you end up with a manic symphony. Shapes that are chaotic in their appearance yet comforting in their presence. Much like an orchestra, it’s a coordinated piece, whose ebbs and flows enchant you and stir you. The origami-inspired expressions blur the lines between classical and contemporary styles. The patterns imitate those found in nature. They are symmetrical, carefully constructed using geometric precision and 3D generations from my own, homegrown AI. The resulting folds are intricately soft, bound to leave you feeling delightfully cozy. Above all, the complexity of the shapes and patterns leaves them open to interpretation and allows you to construct your own, unique story about them. And therein lies the magic.
