BiBEAT Limited is a non-shareholding company in which nobody can take any share of the profit and registered as a ‘Company Limited by Guarantee’ with the Government of Bangladesh. The mission of BiBEAT Ltd is to design, develop and market appropriate technology-based products that can enhance the quality of life of the common people, particularly in the low resource countries (LRC) of the world where very few of the modern technologies have made inroads so far. It has an MOU with the Department of Biomedical Physics & Technology (BMPT) of the University of Dhaka to manufacture products developed by this department. BMPT also oversees and ensures that the products made by BiBEAT satisfy international quality and safety standards. Both BMPT and BiBEAT Ltd share a common philosophy of not patenting any innovations so that common people throughout the globe, particularly in the low resource countries, can get the maximum benefits out of these technologies. BiBEAT has a self-sustaining business model and aims to spread this model proactively throughout the globe. BiBEAT Ltd won the 'Idea Start-up Challenge Award 2017' of the ICT Division of Bangladesh Government.
