BICO exists to champion community eye health in Malawi and the region in order to achieve extraordinary improvements in eye care service delivery, for the prevention and control of avoidable blindness and other neglected Tropical diseases (NTDs) in Malawi and the region.
BICO aims to improve the quality of lives of people through facilitation and the provision of quality and affordable community services, NTD and eye care operational research, capacity building in community health and advocacy and partnership, promotion of girl child education and water and sanitation.
