Biofouling Solutions (BFS) was established in 2008 in response to the increasing global awareness of the environmental threat posed by the translocation of Invasive Marine Species (IMS) through biofouling. Our staff of highly trained marine scientists and taxonomists has combined their skills with Australian and international scientists and professional dive companies to provide a complete range of solutions for biofouling related issues. We offer a comprehensive inspection and pest management service to an international client base. Our biofouling services and treatments are applied to ocean-going yachts, oilfield service vessels, commercial vessels and dredges as well as marine infrastructure such as semi-submersible oil rigs, wharves and marinas. Our experienced IMS inspectors work in Australia and overseas to assess and mitigate the threat of IMS incursions.
