The Netherlands Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (BioSB) research school aims to offer a vibrant environment for the scientific development of, and education in integrative bioinformatics and systems biology. The research school will foster building and maintaining a close research community where trust, loyalty, and mutual respect are key aspects driving research and education.
The BioSB research school aims to generate high quality human capital for the computational life sciences that is ready to synergize with experimental life scientists.
The research school will underpin the integrative and cross-disciplinary activities within the Dutch Techcenter for the Life Sciences (DTL, www.dtls.nl), closely liaise with the DTL Data programme, and provide an anchor to the European Infrastructures active in the computational life sciences such as ISBE and ELIXIR.
