BIOVEGEN-Plataforma Tecnológica de Biotecnología Vegetal es una entidad público-privada cuyo objetivo es la mejora de la competitividad del sector a través del desarrollo de tecnologías procedentes de la Biología Vegetal. Articula a entidades del sector agroalimentario español, poniendo en contacto la oferta y demanda de tecnología, y generando oportunidades de negocio a través de la colaboración Ciencia-Empresa. Actúa como interfaz entre la comunidad científica, empresarial y la Administración, ofreciendo herramientas que facilitan las actividades de I+D+i a sus socios. Actualmente cuenta con 176 entidades socias: 153 empresas, 23 organismos de investigación y el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, que apoya y cofinancia la iniciativa. BIOVEGEN está abierta a colaboraciones con otras entidades del sector.
