Explante was founded in 1998 by two university students with a vision: to create a company dedicated to the in vitro production of plantlets.
After three years of hard work and commitment, the company was officially established in 2001 in the municipality of Mogi Mirim.
Since its foundation, Explante has produced plantlets to meet the growing demand from producers and companies in need of cloning services for the development of high-quality seedlings.
Initially focused on the ornamental plant market, over the years the company has specialized in producing other commercially valuable species — including clonal sugarcane seedlings.
The plantlets are produced in a biofactory equipped with cutting-edge technologies and modern equipment.
Under controlled conditions, the materials are multiplied on a large scale and then acclimated in a protected environment, ensuring uniformity, health, and high quality in every seedling.
