Bird was founded in 2017 by brothers who saw the need for high quality eyewear that looks great, stands up to everyday use and ultimately, doesn’t end up on the ever growing mountain of toxic plastic. By working closely with opticians, manufacturers, and customers, we design sustainable eyewear that meets both people's needs and the planet’s demands. Inspired by nature, we encourage others to enjoy and protect the environment, making sustainability a core part of our business. Bird’s commitment to the environment is real, from planting a forest in Devon to reducing carbon emissions, using recycled materials, and maintaining a transparent supply chain. Our award-winning frames combine style, durability, and low environmental impact, while avoiding fast fashion trends. We focus on materials like plant-based acetates, sustainable wood, and recycled aluminum to create long-lasting products.
