Establishment of the University
• The University of Bisha was established based on the Royal Decree No. 20937, dated 2/6/1435 AH, in Asir region, in order to fulfil the university and higher education needs for students and locals within this specific and precious geographical region of the country.
• The University of Bisha involves 15 scientific colleges in the governorates of: Bisha, Balqarn, Al-Namas, and Tathleeth.
• These various colleges and branches, have 29 scientific programs at the bachelor level, 23 programs at the diploma level, and 12 postgraduate programs in different specializations.
