BITZER’s history in Australia stretches back to the 1960's with a Sydney based BITZER distributor, W H Evans. The company sold its first screw compressor rack in 1987 and soon found a niche in custom designed and engineered compressor systems.
Two years later, the factory was bought by German company BITZER International (now BITZER Kühlmaschinenbau GmbH), and BITZER Australia was born.
The company expanded its manufacturing capabilities to include a range of refrigeration and HVAC&R equipment with BITZER compressors at the heart of each product. The ISO9001 accredited facility based in St Marys NSW now produces a complete range of added value products including condensing units, pressure vessels, natural refrigerant systems and transcritical CO2 systems, with an emphasis on user-friendliness, efficiency and environmentally sound technology.
BITZER also has a dedicated office and warehouse in Auckland to ensure NZ customers are well serviced with timely deliveries and a local sales team.
