The Black Leadership Programme (BLP) is an empowering initiative jointly developed by Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Trent Students’ Union exclusively designed for undergraduate students. Our programme is dedicated to uplifting students of African, Caribbean, and mixed heritage by fostering leadership skills, community connections, and professional growth.
Through a blend of skill-building sessions, interactive workshops, and community-focused events, BLP offers a transformative experience that helps students develop confidence, resilience, and leadership capabilities. Participants also have the opportunity to connect with experienced Black mentors, gaining valuable insights and guidance that extend beyond the university journey.
