The Black Nurse Scientist Mentorship Program is a program founded by four nurse scientists and leaders who are committed to increasing the number of Black Nurse Scientists into the workforce as well as providing support to those who are currently in the role. BNSMP has three components: Tours to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), social networking and support , and an annual writing retreat.
