Bloom fosters more sustainable, creative, and purpose-driven solutions to global issues related to the ocean, coastal areas and communities, and climate change. In 2015, the United Nations introduced the 2030 Agenda, which entrusted humanity with the commitment to "Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development" as one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. To encourage actions toward this commitment, the UN declared the period from 2021 to 2030 as the "Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development." We are part of this movement to strengthen the ocean agenda. Bloom aims to empower ocean-related individuals, projects, and businesses with impactful ideas and solutions for sustainability challenges.
