Brightlands Life Sciences Ventures (BLSV) is the corporate venturing company of Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus b.v. BLSV invests in spin offs from Maastricht University and Maastricht University Medical Center.
Recently BLSV signed a joint venture agreement with Chengdu Liankang Investment Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Zhisun Private Equity Management Co. Ltd. (both located in Chengdu, China) to set up the Sino-Dutch Venture Capital Fund Management Company Ltd. whose aim it is to foster the creation of several Chinese and Dutch investment funds in the Health and Life Sciences sectors. The initial focus will be on facilitating the ambitions of Dutch companies wishing to expand to the Chinese market. During the second phase, support will be provided to Chinese companies looking to develop activities in Europe.
