Blue Ray Community Based Organization

Blue Ray is a Community Based Organization (BRCBO) registered with the Department of Social Development, under Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. We believe in healthy populations and their right to social justice. We work with the local communities in Western Kenya and Nyanza region, Kenya to provide them with a broad range of services including facility-based health information, strengthening health systems and education on youth and women’s rights. In addition to a medical clinic, Blue Ray runs HIV Counseling/Testing services, Family Planning and Cervical Cancer Screening programs. We also have the Optical and Malaria Prevention and Treatment projects. We do these in conjunction with partners who include Maisha Med and Triggerise, we also follow guidelines for covid-19 prevention (cover mouth and nose, hand washing, vaccination and social distancing). While BRCBO is fairly young, having been registered in 2021, it has a team of highly proficient professionals in Kenya, with vast experience in research, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation and project management.
