Nature at its purest: everything at Laus revolves around it. Our winery is like an “island” in the D.O.P. Somontano (Huesca). Lying in the municipality of Barbastro, it is surrounded by water, vineyards, flowers, sun, air... enveloped by nature and life. At LAUS, this is shown in the way we work the vines to get top-quality grapes, always with the greatest possible respect for the natural environment that surrounds us and inspires us. This is what we communicate with our building, its surroundings, the vines and our team, and, of course, it is channelled into the result of all those things: our wines.
It is no coincidence that our logo symbolises the earth in I Ching symbolism, representing our essence, the territory: the earth on which our vineyard stands. Because the earth shows us how Laus can live up to its meaning in Latin: “praise, congratulations, consideration”.
