On Spain south Eastern rugged coast, limestone mountains tower majestically over the sea in the ancestral wine-producing region of Alicante. For more than 2500 years, vines have been grown in an ideal microclimate, surrounded by pines, holm oaks and olive groves gently caressed by the Mediterranean breezes. Bocopa was one of the very first winery in Spain to start with organic wines in 1994. Grapes are grown on trellises with support irrigation, 30 years old plots approx., allowing a perfect ripening which is strongly monitored to give the best possible expression of fruit and concentration
