Eligible Buildings • Buildings located in the City of Toronto (416 area code) • Greater than 25,000 square feet • Office • Hospitality • Retail Stores including Grocery • Mixed Use • Industrial Buildings (excluding projects for process loads) • Warehouses • Private Institutions (educational or healthcare institutions, privately-owned) Eligible Measures • Building Automation Systems • Building Envelope • Chiller Replacement • Deep Lake Water Cooling • Elevator Modernization • Equipment Replacement • Fuel Substitution • Ground Source Heat Pumps • HVAC Redesign • Lighting Controls • Lighting Retrofits • Power Conditioning • Tenant Sub-Metering • Transformer Replacement • Variable Speed Drives (Fans and Pumps) Eligible Project Costs • Energy audits • Engineering • Equipment • Labour • Commissioning • Meter rental or purchase • Metering services • Go Green Plus/BESt assessment Non-Eligible Buildings: • Multi-residential (apartments, condominiums) • Public entities; Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Healthcare facilities • New Construction Incentive Levels • Lighting Retrofits and Lighting Controls - $400 per kW of on-peak demand reduction - $0.05 per kWh annual energy savings • $250 per ton of cooling for ground source heat pumps • All other measures - $800 per kW of on-peak demand reduction - $0.10 per kWh annual energy savings Incentive Cap • Limited to 40% of total eligible project costs Duration The deadline for submitting applications is December 31, 2010. Participants will have until June 30, 2011 to complete their projects in order to receive incentives payments.
