Bootstrappers have a clear purpose: To work with highly ambitious companies to create best practice, self sustaining software delivery environments where ongoing success is inevitable The term “Bootstrapping” refers to self-sustaining processes that, once established, proceed without external help. This is achieved by the continuous improvement of processes starting with the very simple leading to successively more powerful and efficient practises. Boostrappers work in exactly the same way, firstly working with the customer to assess their current situation. Bootsrappers then propose improvements to processes, tools and mindsets. As maturity and acceptance increase additional improvements are added iteratively to the solid foundations in a sustainable manner.
