About BrAIn | Interreg Danube Region Programme

Main objective of BrAIn project is to tackle a key challenge–to increase competitiveness of Danube Region - SMEs by familiarizing them with the relevance and potential of AI enabling technologies & equip the main stakeholders with the necessary skills to follow i5.0, to support a sustainable, humancentric & resilient industry in the DR. This aim is to be achieved with technology transfer of novel AI solutions in the key areas with reducing the negative effects of the value chain bottlenecks. For such purpose, the partnership is composed by: Lead Partner: - Pannon Business Network Association (HU). Project Partners: - Innovation Technology Cluster Murska Sobota (SI); - Steinbeis 2i GmbH (DE); - Foundation Cluster Information and Communication Technologies (BG); - West Regional Development Agency (RO); - PROUNION (SK); - Business Upper Austria (AT); - XR Institute Ltd. (CZ); - University of Belgrade - School of Electrical Engineering (RS); - Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (MD); - Information Society Development Institute (MD). The project actions directly support the objectives of the EUSDR Priority Area 8 by contributing to the competitiveness of enterprises in the DR. The aim is to connect to the proposed Actions of the PA 8 by stressing the cooperation of the single working groups: Innovation and Technology Transfer, Artificial Intelligence, Cluster and Regional Development, Digital Danube and Female Entrepreneurship. By composing our policy level recommendation, the project aims to improve framework conditions for SMEs in areas where competitive infrastructure is missing and supporting enterprises through high performing training and qualification schemes.
