The Danube Transfer Centre Network (DTC Network) is a transnational network in the Danube region. Since 2012, the Network aims at supporting enterprises in the Danube region with the objective of installing “Danube Transfer Centres (DTCs)”. They are organised as one-stop-shops to mainly support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises regarding innovation & technology transfer.
DTCs contribute to capacity building and improved cooperation within the whole Danube macro-region by the provision of frequent trainings & workshops, application of innovation capacity tools, as well as development and implementation of the projects in the frame of diverse EU funding programmes.
With 15 DTC Entry Points in 10 Danube Region countries and 34 DTC Hubs connected to them, the network serves as an exceptional platform to bring prosperity in the region through innovation, knowledge and technology transfer at the local and regional level.
It is thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the specific objectives of the working group “Innovation & Technology Transfer (I&TT)” within Priority Area 8 (Competitiveness of Enterprises) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). In this framework, the DTC Network has been awarded with the Danube Strategy Flagship Certificate.
