Located in Girard, OH, Brainard Rivet is an employee-owned subsidiary of Fastener Industries, specializing in personalized customer service and on-time delivery. Manufacturing small & large rivets, knurled & grooved products, clevis pins, and Hex Weld nuts, our focus is print-specific solid fasteners in steel and non-ferrous material: .090-.625 diameter & lengths up to 5.00 inches.
Brainard Rivet was founded in 1916 to manufacture fasteners for the hoops in the Wine & Barrel Industries. Our product line has since diversified into the Farm Machinery, Railroad, Automotive, Furniture, Recreational Vehicles, General Metal Working and Pole Line Hardware Industries.
Distributors rely on Brainard for special, one-of-a-kind fasteners to fill their diverse requirements. Brainard utilizes Single and Double-Blow Headers, along with progressive machines up to Five-Dies-Five-Blows. Cold headed manufacturing offers quicker set-up, faster turnaround, less scrap, longer tool life and improved grain flow. Wire drawers located at each heading station greatly reduce raw material requirements. Most tooling required for manufacturing is crafted on-site. Additional in-house processes include drilling, grooving, shaving, threading, knurling, pointing, heat-treat and organic finishing options. State-of-the-art simulation software engineering enhances tooling life and efficiency.
Quality is built into every process. Brainard is currently certified to ISO 9001: 2015. Customer orders of all sizes are given individualized attention during our daily production briefing.
