Breadline Africa

We are dedicated to uplifting Southern Africa’s children through educational infrastructure. Established in 1993, Breadline Africa is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping vulnerable people uplift themselves - breaking the cycle of poverty in Southern Africa. We believe that when a child’s imagination is unlocked, possibilities are opened, allowing them to choose a path for their own future. Breadline Africa enables this journey by providing infrastructure, creating early childhood development classrooms, libraries, kitchens and toilets. Breadline Africa is registered as a non-profit organisation and based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are also registered as a charity in the UK, with offices in the United Kingdom and Ireland. We have a 100% BEEE beneficiary base and individual donors, as well as corporate donors, qualify for a Section 18 Tax exception when making donations to Breadline Africa.
