Breen Resources is a proud Australian family-owned waste and resource management company, with a Resource Recovery facility in Kurnell, South Sydney and our Head Office based in Sydney CBD. Our vision is to be authentic leaders in waste and resource management, driven by the creation of valuable recycled products, minimising environmental impact, and maintaining the highest standard of transparency. We create valuable products from waste and preserve our natural resources for future generations. We do this by recovering and recycling materials from demolition and construction sites, which otherwise would have been sent to landfill. Our approach helps companies reduce their environmental impact while contributing to a greener economy. Our current facility was built in 2014, In November 2024, The Breen Group received consent from the NSW Government for the development of the Marang Parklands and the delivery of an adjacent state-of-the-art Resource Recovery Facility in South Sydney. For many years Breen has had a vision for its landholdings on the Kurnell Peninsula. The family-owned company has wanted to progressively rehabilitate its original sand extraction sites to include significant community-focussed facilities that meet clear environmental and public objectives, while also investing in state-of-the-art resource recovery infrastructure serving the surrounding region. Our core values as a business include integrity, by maintaining the highest ethical standards and transparency; a focus on customers and the community, adapting to their needs with tailored solutions; pride in our heritage, building on our legacy; and a commitment to resource preservation by minimizing the use of virgin materials and positively impacting the environment.
