British Marine Electrical & Electronics Association

The British Marine Electrical & Electronics Association is a trade organisation that represents installers and manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment such as radars, GPS receivers, radios, navigation aids and battery chargers specifically for marine use. The BMEEA is a group association of the British Marine Federation (BMF). There are many aspects to the work of the Association. Representing the interests of members and promoting high standards of professionalism in terms of products, services and workmanship are key objectives. In tangible terms, the Association produces a Code of Practice for installation of equipment, is responsible for the BMET skills accreditation scheme and delivers technical services, including advice and guidance, to the industry and consumers.
