Brunel Racing

Brunel Formula Student team aim to design, build and test a prototype single-seat race car for Formula student. Formula student is a competition event which provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their engineering capabilities in the form of a prototype single-seat race car for autocross or sprint racing. During the event the FS car will undergo rigorous testing in the form of static and dynamic events, viewed by a panel of judges; and continual competition against other Universities across the country. Brunel Formula Student team always aims for the top and this year hope to achieve that by developing the Brunel FS car from last year. A lot of effort and time is required when developing an FS car, which is why Motorsport Students at Brunel are encouraged to participate. A team of students usually run by department leader’s work together to improve the FS car over the course of the year.
