Our mission for Buddy Services is to encourage seniors, terminally-ill patients to engage in social interaction. Seniors who participate in the "Buddy Service," takes on a new lease on life. We encourage seniors to live a fully active and stimulating life.
Seniors who outlive their spouse or partner, often find it difficult to maintain a healthy perspective on life. Researchers have found that loneliness not only can cause depression, but it can also contribute to the development of several psychological and medical problems, and even premature death.
