Who We Are & What We Do
Buddy System is a grassroots non-profit founded in response to COVID-19. What began as an effort to support our neighbors with access to food assistance during the pandemic quickly grew into a massive mutual aid program. Within weeks, we found ourselves serving over 1000 people in South Florida with a team of 700 volunteers. Through organizing, we are able to create systemic change because the issues of the area are being addressed by the community for the community.
