The centre is at the heart of the community and serves as a hub for people looking to connect with others, develop new skills, and make new friends. We are also proud supporters of small business and our facilities provide the opportunity for business owners to incubate their ideas and grow within a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. The Bulimba Community Centre is a progressive and thriving community hub that has been serving the Bulimba community for over 35 years. Our Centre is more than just a building, it is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to connect, learn, and have fun. Our history is deeply rooted in community involvement, and we have always been a place where people can come together to make a difference. Since our inception as a Seniors Centre in 1985, we have grown to become an integral part of the community, offering a range of services and activities that cater to everyone. From our weekly Young at Hearts 65+ Group, which has been running since the start, to our boutique Community Garden, and Brisbane’s first Dementia Choir Sing Sing Sing, Wee Make Music and Little Kickers there is something for everyone at your Centre. We also offer a JP service, where JP’s In The Community are available each Wednesday (10am – 12pm). At the Bulimba Community Centre, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
