Burning Nights Crps Support

Burning Nights Crps Support company information, Employees & Contact Information

Burning Nights CRPS Support is a registered UK charity (Charity Registration No. 1166522). Our aims are raising awareness for a poorly recognised pain condition; Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) amongst not only the public but also amongst the healthcare community. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) formerly Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy is a poorly understood condition which affects many people in the UK and across the globe. CRPS can cause a person to experience persistent, severe and debilitating pain. The condition may develop after an injury, surgery, stroke or heart attack, but the pain is out of proportion with the severity of the initial injury. The cause of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome isn’t clearly understood and CRPS awareness in the UK is low. Burning Nights CRPS Support is currently 1 of only 2 charities in the UK. With low awareness and understanding of CRPS both globally and in the UK, it is vital that a support system is in place for those who suffer from this condition. Burning Nights offers detailed evidence based information and CRPS support for sufferers, their loved ones, carers, friends and families. Burning Nights CRPS Support aims to improve the quality of life for those living with CRPS, their carers, families, loved ones and friends. Increasing knowledge of CRPS on a global and national scale in the UK is a necessity. Through the products on offer, awareness and support of CRPS can improve through increased visibility and information. We provide monthly online support group, CRPS counselling & psychotherapy service, befriending service, an online 24/7 community forum, a telephone support helpline, social media help across many channels and an annual conference.
