Bush Ways is a mobile safari and lodge operator founded in 1996. Born from an intense love for the African bush we aim to provide traveling experiences based on personalised attention, and to offer great value for money safaris, genuine cultural encounters and authentic bush experiences to our guests. Starting as a 1-man/1-vehicle/1-itinerary operation, we have since then expanded to a company offering 3 different styles of mobile safaris with 9 different routes and a fleet of 12 safari vehicles, owning 2 boutique lodges and managing a guest house set amongst Botswana’s most exciting wilderness destinations, and involved in a number of non-profit community projects in Botswana. Bush Ways Lodges First starting as a mobile safari operator, Bush Ways expanded their activities in 2010 with the opening of Sango Safari Camp, proceeding with Chobe Elephant Camp in 2013 before taking over the management of Khwai Guest House in 2015, aiming to provide a lodge experience going back to the roots of the safari tradition and focused on discovering the highlights of Botswana through its people. Sango Safari Camp is nestled in the shade of the trees overlooking the Khwai River. Situated on the outskirts of the traditional village of Khwai and bordering Moremi Game Reserve, the camp offers guests the perfect base from which to explore the wildlife and culture of this unique habitat. Located high on the edge of a rocky ridge overlooking the famous Chobe River is the uniquely designed Chobe Elephant Camp. This eco-friendly lodge has been built to take advantage of the incredible views overlooking the sweeping floodplains while offering a comfortable refuge from the harsh African conditions. Latest addition to the Bush Ways portfolio, Khwai Guest House is an exquisite budget accommodation on the edge of the Khwai village a few minutes outside Moremi Game Reserve, offering amazingly affordable safari lodging amongst one of the main highlights of Botswana’s wilderness.
