Byker Community Trust

Byker Community Trust (BCT) is part of the Karbon family. Karbon is responsible for looking after customers on the iconic Grade II* Listed Byker Estate in Newcastle upon Tyne. There are 1,800 homes, which includes two sheltered housing schemes, accommodation for the over 50’s and accommodation for veterans. Even though the ownership and management of all homes has transferred to Karbon, the management area will still be called Byker Community Trust and the BCT office, which is located in the heart of the community, will remain so that customers can speak to staff face-to-face.
