(CMIT) is a JV between China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) and Microsoft Corporation. CMIT sells and licenses software and related products to governmental agencies, courts, public institutions with government administrative functions, public organizations funded by the PRC government and any other agencies or institutions that are required to comply with the PRC government procurement law and state-owned enterprises operating in national defense, communications, radio and TV, energy, transportation, water resources, medical and health care and finance; provides after-sales services for software and related products; researches, designs and develops software and related products; and provides software related consulting, training and technical services for these customers.
