Calcit is one of the leading producers of calcium carbonate pigments, functional additives and granulates on the European market. Our businesses deliver a broad range of products to customers across Europe, serving key industries such as paper, paints, plastics, glassmaking, pharmacy, agriculture, ecology, construction, and others. Headquartered in Stahovica, Slovenia, Calcit over the last thirty years gained a significant presence across Europe. It is the second largest European producer of GCC papermaking fillers with a 20% market share, which will be further increased with the new plant in the Netherlands. The company generates almost 80 percent of its revenue in the paper industry.
