Carers Support is an independent registered charity, established in 1997. Our vision is to make sure carers are identified, recognised, valued, respected and supported in their caring role. We have more than 12,000 local carers registered with us and deliver our services with 40 (full time equivalent) members of staff and over 170 volunteers.
Carers Support provides a range of services including:
- Confidential telephone support line and online help
- A variety of support for young carers
- Carers Emergency Card
- One-to-one support in community settings, hospital and GP practices
- Breaks service in South Gloucestershire
- Wellbeing support through counselling, befriending, walk and talk service
