Carousel Preschool holds an Excellent Rating (5 Stars) from the Louisiana Department of Education. Excellent (5 Stars) is the highest rating achievable for early learning center performance profiles. This rating is primarily based on the quality of teacher-child interactions and shows evidence of the exceptional relationships and instructional supports displayed by Carousel’s teachers. At Carousel Preschool, it is our mission to uphold a quality early childhood program where children feel loved and encouraged, families feel trusting and supported, and staff feel empowered and valued. We do this by providing an emotionally supportive, diverse and inclusive, enjoyable, environment as the foundation for purposefully planned challenging learning activities to best support brain development, critical thinking skills and the comprehensive growth of the whole child.
