We support the Latino immigrant community as they fight for safe, fair, and just living and working conditions in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
CATA’s work is focused around three issues: Workers’ Rights, Immigration and Food Justice. CATA’s organizing work helps migrant workers to address: Wage Theft, Workplace Discrimination, Unfair Firings, Unsafe/Unsanitary Conditions.
CATA Members also participate in advocacy work to improve working conditions for all workers including Raising the Minimum Wage, Paid Time Off and Sick Leave, Collective Bargaining Protections.
We support our members while applying for driving licenses in New Jersey and DACA. We also inform them about OSHA Worker Rights and Protections and help them to present complaints.
