Cavalier Courier & Process Service specializes in private process service and also offers skip tracing, court filings, court record retrieval, and hand delivery for legal professionals and government agencies. The firm is licensed, insured, and an active member of the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS). The company was founded in 1990 by C. Cragin Lynn. An ownership change in 2012 gave birth to a new company which officially began operating on January 1, 2013. September 2015 saw the company procure a federal contract with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (since renewed). Three months later, Cavalier began work for another government agency, personally serving thousands of traffic summonses per month on their behalf. In 2019, Cavalier officially expanded to two new office locations to better serve the needs of legal professionals as their go-to process service team.
