Cayenne, Inc. (Χn) Inc is a Nevada corporation formed to develop and market the active materials it creates from silicon quantum clusters with 2nd and 3rd order non linearities. The corporation develops materials processing and device development for a defense and industrial applications. The company has harvested current intellectual property, and 30 years of proprietary know how, and unique material synthesis technologies through acquisition and strategic partnering. The company acquired Ionic Systems Inc.(IS), which became the Ionic Systems Division (CISD). CISD will market processing equipment and fixed property materials/processes while Cayenne’s material division will focus on responsive materials. Fundamental research, both private and government sponsored will be within Χn material division while CISD will pursue transition technology from the basic development area to commercialization, including capital equipment design and manufacturing through foundry services. Χn will focus on basic innovation while CISD will use basic material and process technology to innovate solid state manufacture. Χn is in the process of altering IS business plan which previously had focused on low volume, military and aerospace product development. CISD technology will be evaluated for transition to commercial customers in the next 12 months. It is expected that certain portfolio technologies will be spun off as a result of review/evaluation in the next 12 months.
